Four Years!
It's hard to believe that Bay Area 02 has been around now for four years!!
We started as a group of Bay Area 2002 fans who met on Chris Kent's list and then we made plans to meet in person.
<kudos to Chris Kent> It's been an amazing transition from email contacts to meeting in person to monthly gatherings. And now four years later we have our own email list, a well visited Web site, monthly gatherings and an annual swap meet and car show!

So, it's time to celebrate. Like our very first gathering, tradition holds that our anniversary gatherings are held in the city. This year we'll be meeting on August 10th, 10am at Crissy Field in the Presidio.
And, since there are BBQ facilities let's make it a
gathering/BBQ! We'll be meeting at the far North end of Crissy field (the G.G. Bridge end) near the Warming Hut.
But remember, it's August in San Francisco, so be sure to dress in layers and wear a jacket. Get more information here.
